Conducted Zonal Sensitization Workshops on “Strategies for Combating Corruption in Nigeria” in Kano (North-West) on December 13, 2017; Bauchi (North-East) on February 28, 2018 and Minna (North-Central) on March 28, 2018. The workshops were supported by the Embassy of the United States of America, Abuja.
Introduced and held the “Annual Catch them Young Sensitization Program for Selected Primary Schools” in Kano on June 27, 2018 and Gombe on May 22, 2019. The programs were supported by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
Created and utilized “Social Media/New Media Platforms to Fight Corruption through Regular Anti-corruption Postings and Messaging” from January to June 2018. The media platforms were Facebook (https://web.facebook.com/interfaith.anticorruption) and Twitter (@FightCorruption).
Established and supported “Anti-Corruption Clubs in 21 Selected Secondary Schools in Bauchi, Benue, Kano, Jigawa, Katsina, Niger States”. The clubs carry out anti-corruption activities to sensitize students through periodic debates, presentations, talks, video shows, etc.
Established and supported “Students’ Interfaith Anti-corruption Clubs in 24 Selected Tertiary Institutions in Northern Nigeria” including universities, polytechnics, colleges of education located in Adamawa, Benue, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Sokoto, Taraba, Plateau, Yobe and Zamfara States.
Aired “Monthly Anti-corrupt Practices Jingles on 12 Selected Radio Stations in Northern Nigeria” in Adamawa, Borno, Kaduna, Kano, Kogi and Plateau States from January to June, 2019 on 12 radio stations. The radio stations used were: Grace FM and Radio Kogi, Lokoja; Unity FM and PRTV, Jos; Liberty Radio and Invicta FM, Kaduna; Freedom Radio and Cool FM, Kano; ABC Yola FM and Gotel Radio, Yola and Borno Radio & TV and Peace FM, Borno.
Conducted Monthly Phone-in Programs on Selected Radio Stations in Northern Nigeria on the Theme: “The Ills of Corrupt Practices and Strategies for Eliminating their Impact on Nigerians” from March to December 2019 in Benue, Kebbi, Nasarawa, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara States. The radio stations used were Equity FM, Kebbi, Kebbi State; Harvest FM, Makurdi, Benue State; Precious FM, Lafia, Nasarawa State; Pride FM, Gusau, Zamfara State; TSBS FM, Jalingo, Taraba State and YBC FM, Damaturu, Yobe State.
“Liaised with BudgIT, Lagos CBOs and CSOs to Track Budgets of Selected State Governments in Northern Nigeria” from 2019 to 2020. The states were Benue, Borno, Jigawa, Plateau Taraba and Zamfara. While the CBOs and CSOs INAC liaised with were: Community Development Initiative Forum (CODEF), Dutse, Jigawa State; Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Jigawa State; Millennium Development Centre (MDC), Gusau, Zamfara State; Centre for Community Excellence (CENCEX), Gusau, Zamfara State; Connected Development, Maiduguri, Borno State; Gwoza Youth Progressive Association (GYPA), Maiduguri, Borno State; Center for Peace and Community Development, Jalingo, Taraba State; Eneme Change for Women Development Initiative, Jalingo, Taraba State; ilekaan Aid Initiative, Makurdi, Benue State; Lawyers Alert, Makurdi, Benue State; Dialogue, Reconciliation and Peace Centre, Jos, Plateau State and the Islamic Counselling Initiatives of Nigeria (ICIN), Jos, Plateau State.
