Our Objectives
The aim of the INAC is to have a platform for religious leaders in Northern Nigeria to fight corruption in the region in particular, and Nigeria in general. Specifically, the objectives of the INAC are to:
Seek, create and support internal indices to objectively measure corruption in Nigeria
Establish linkages between faith-based organizations and agencies that promote anti-corruption activities.
Develop a transformation ideology based on integrity and accountability.
Design and institute anti-corruption curricula and training programs.
Engage government for information, increased transparency, and actions, particularly in the key sectors of governance, education, the banking and finance industry, the judiciary, public infrastructure, security services and law enforcement and the civil service.
Commit to transparency within our own organizations.
Identify, celebrate, and encourage anti-corruption and transparency role models.
Carry out other activities as decided by the Network.
Encourage and empower citizen advocacy for a corruption-free society.
Train new leaders, with an emphasis on the youth.
